Dubai and Oman have recently rolled out a “green corridor” for sea and air shipments in efforts to optimize trade and reinforce supply chains between the two countries. The initiative is a joint effort by Dubai Customs and Oman’s General Administration of Customs.

The green corridor allows shipment data to be submitted in advance, enabling faster clearance through approved channels upon arrival. This simplified process is aimed at reducing delays and simplifying procedures while enhancing logistics efficiency.

Officials highlighted that the move underscores both countries’ commitment to facilitating cross-border trade, supporting economic integration, and providing businesses with smoother, more reliable supply chain operations.

With the launch of the new green corridor, companies can look forward to a more expedited customs processing and improved ease of doing business across the UAE-Oman corridor.
